TIP – Unplug And Save: You may be one more homeowner who is unaware of this, but did you know that your electrical devices continue to draw power even when they’re switched-off?!? It’s true. TIP – Enable Your Monitor’s Auto-Shutdown: If you forget to shut your monitor down, this convenient feature will back you up and will save you from wasting energy. Screen savers will preserve the lifespan of your monitor, but won’t actually reduce any energy consumption.

TIP – Shut Computers Down Completely: Shutting your monitor off when you’re not at the computer is a no-brainer, but what most people don’t realize is that their computer continues to draw power even when it is in one of the so-called “energy saving” modes.

TIP – Give That Computer A Real Upgrade: If you need to get a new computer, look into new energy-efficient models that can cut your home office”s energy consumption in half!

TIP – Use Laptops When Possible: Not only do laptops allow us greater flexibility in where we choose to work, they also use far less power and give off far less heat… In other words, if you”re also running climate control devices to keep you office cool then they won’t have to work as hard either!
