Currently we are approaching a critical mass between production, consumption, and economic need in the realm of renewable energy technologies: residential solar panels and wind turbines are more affordable than ever, and the number of companies selling products and providing installation services is growing daily, generating competition, and giving consumers more choices.

Let’s back up a step first… For over a century the rock-bottom prices of fossil fuels have enabled the economies of the developing world to hurtle themselves to the top of the most accelerated technological curve in history. The cost of fuel has gone up, and so has the cost of the resulting emissions. If we can’t reduce atmospheric carbon, we will significantly endanger our planet. In the coming years, we will have to restructure almost every aspect of industry. Everything from the way we generate power to the way we manufacture and transport goods will have to be rebuilt from the ground up.
So, when we talk about jobs being created, and venture capital opportunities resulting from investment in clean energy, we’re not just discussing someone working for a natural energy company… This is about an entirely new breed of economic growth in which the potential for new business and new startups is virtually unlimited.
Grassroots-level solar panel and wind turbine producers are starting to pop up everywhere. Keep your eyes on the ones whose stock will be worth buying!
